Working together for greater mental health, one step at a time
At our counselling practice, we are a passionate team of mental health professionals dedicated
to supporting individuals and communities on their journey toward healing and growth. Cece
Tardiff (MSW, BSW, RSW), Roderick N. Batson (M.Ed., RPN, B.A.), and Shawna Thompson - (Psychology and Sociology - B.A.), each bring a wealth of experience and specialized expertise.
Amani Routes Counselling mainly provides mental health counselling to individuals and groups. The company's vision is to see every individual have the ability to seek and access mental health support whenever they need it. It's mission is to provide mental health support and well-being to all. Wouldn't it be such a wonderful world where we are all able to be okay with NOT being okay and not feeling judged or stigmatized for it??
Our biggest goal is to be a part of the change we want to see in the world. To have mental health at the forefront of everything we do. Because there is simply no health without mental health!
We combine a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT),
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), to create personalized treatment plans. With a deep commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive environment, we help our clients overcome challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful
change in their lives.

Testimonials
"As I reflected on 2021 and look ahead to 2022, I am grateful for the positive impact my sessions with Cece have had on my 2021. She allowed me a safe space to share and provided thoughtful insights. She was a wonderful support and guided me through my emotions and thought process. She showed she cared by her follow up during subsequent discussions. I would recommend Cece and the counseling program to others. It was very beneficial for me."

"Overall I had a very good counselling experience with you. You said many things that resonated with me, and helped me to get perspective on my feelings and my situation. You listened carefully when I was talking about myself, and provided a sense of connection that I valued. It was a good experience, and it helped me a lot."
